ABSTRACT
Approximately 86 % of all
the information kept in our memory is obtained through the visual channel
- the sight. This is why in the importance of senses the sight is on the
top of the hierarchy leader, far from all other senses. The success of
the cinema, television, computers (windows) lies in this fact.
In everyday communication we use all our senses. The sense of hearing,
which enables us the contact with the sound or with the human immanence
- the music, is leaning towards the sight because of the phylogenetic
changes, in the sense of priorities. The hearing has been pushed into
the second place. This phenomenon is constantly present and we are dealing
with it in a different way depending on the situation. In order to increase
the effect of the sonic information we have been using a suitable visual/picture
"supplements" for some time now, known to us as audio-visual
learning / the multimedia or similar. The transition from the horizontal
into the visual code is a characteristic of the current time and we come
across it at each step.
So, when listening to the music, a legitimate question of a simultaneity
of visual contents which accompanies the music is raise, that is: is the
content of the nature/programme/story or the performing artists with its
surrounding, a suitable visual supplement for a dynamic sound structure
of a music piece? The answer is no! We are talking about music, which
in itself is not a natural phenomena, it is one of the top-most human
immanence expressed in abstract form. This is why the already mentioned
natural visual "supplements" on the level of the main human
sense/the sight, are to often unsuitable, trivial, misleading and damaging
to the music.

between the motive and the content, that is what the music is supposed
to be, and of that which it surely is not. Finally, this is a change of
perception of sound/music, appropriate not only for the time we live in
but also appropriate to our physiological properties.
